YTN, Korea's sole 24 hours a day, comprehensive news channel, started out in 1995 and has grown into a key information provider in Korea. This, I believe, was made possible through unsparing support from our viewers, along with precious efforts made by YTN employees and management to deliver viewers 'speedy and accurate news reports,' and 'impartial news.'

YTN's network, encompassing local branches and 100-plus foreign correspondents bringing news from over 50 major cities around the world, delivers real-time news to 12.8 million cable TV-watching households and 1.8 million satellite TV households in Korea. In addition, 7 million Korean expatriates get their hometown news live through satellite.

As YTN was designated as a Korean digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) operator this year, we can now provide our live news coverage any time any where through various channels including cable, satellite and DMB.
